HCWA Rates & Fees
Consumption rates take effect on 10/01/23 and will reflect on your November billing statement.
Monthly charges to HCWA customers for water and sewer services generally consist of: (1) a monthly base charge, calculated according to the size of a customer's residential, irrigation, or commercial water meter; plus, (2) a volume charge applied to the monthly water consumption. The water and sewer rates for all residential and business customers inside Henry County are uniform, with charges to customers outside of Henry County multiplied by a factor of 1.25%.
Volume Charges: to offer our customers a financial incentive for water conservation, water and sewer volumetric rates have a tiered structure. This is a regulatory requirement for all utilities operating within the Metropolitan North Georgia Water Planning District. However, regardless of your monthly total consumption, we encourage all of our customers to check for household leaks periodically and to use water wisely, indoors and outdoors.
