Wastewater Lab

The Henry County Water Authority’s Wastewater Laboratory is located at the Walnut Creek Water Reclamation facility. This laboratory houses Walnut Creek’s sewage quality control lab along with the wastewater discharge quality control laboratory. The wastewater lab analysts are trained and state-certified laboratory analysts and plant operators. The laboratory staff monitors biochemical oxygen demand, total suspended solids, fecal coliforms and nitrates levels of the effluent that is land applied along with monitoring wells throughout the land application sites.
