ESTABLISH NEW SERVICE

APPLICATIONS WITHOUT REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

In an increased effort to protect customer identity as mandated by the Federal Trade Commission’s Red Flag Rule and to safeguard the integrity of our customer information system, effective July 1, 2023, all residential and commercial customers will be required to submit an application to establish a new account or transfer existing water/sewer service

We are also pleased to offer several reduced deposit incentives for our new residential customers and existing residential customers who are transferring service to a new location.  Effective July 1, 2023, HCWA will begin performing soft credit inquiries on residential accounts.  This soft credit check verifies your identity, looks at your payment history with other utilities, and will not affect your credit score. A $5.00 application processing fee will be charged for all requests and will be assessed for each location on all residential and commercial properties beginning July 1, 2023.

DOCUMENTS REQUIRED TO START SERVICE: (Along with a completed application) 

  • Homeowners:  Copy of valid picture ID, and signed settlement statement, deed, or tax assessment
  • Tenants:  Copy of valid picture ID and signed lease agreement
  • Commercial property owners:  Signed settlement statement, deed, or tax assessment
  • Commercial Tenants:  Signed lease Agreement
  • Property Management Companies:  Signed property management agreement/contract
