HCWA partners with Sheriff's Office for Deputy Dash
The Henry County Water Authority (HCWA) continues to expand its community partnerships by providing support to worthy causes.
The Authority participated in the recent (March 2) Henry County Sheriff’s Office Foundation’s Deputy Dash – a 5K fun run and walk to raise money and support for Camp Sunshine’s programs for kids with cancer.
More than 300 runners and walkers enjoyed the HCWA2GO water tank with clean, fresh HCWA tap water after the race. In addition, the Authority staff shared public information on How to do Business with the HCWA, including opportunities for vendors and potential employees.
Travis Jackson, HCWA Strategic Coordinator, helped to organize the Authority’s participation in the Deputy Dash, while working behind the scenes. In addition, the HCWA2GO water tank and display at the event were provided by the HCWA Operations Department, under the direction of Lesa Walker, HCWA Operations Manager.
